After the resounding triumph against the Lakers, the Heat is preparing to receive two tough commitments on consecutive nights at the Kaseya Center this weekend.

The first is this Saturday, December 7 (8 p.m. TV: FanDuel Sports Network and Radio: 710 am Radio Mambi in Spanish) against the Suns and the second is on Sunday 8 (6 p.m.) against the Cavaliers.

The Miami team (10-10) ranks 7th in the Eastern Conference as do the Suns (12-9) but in the West, while the Cavs (20-3) are first in the East, starring in a great start to the season.

The Heat should take advantage of the fact that Phoenix quintet star Kevin Durant (ankle) and centre Jusuf Nurkic (slim) are out of this encounter, however the Suns have enough power to ensure these casualties are not too noticeable.

There are Devin Booker and Bradley Beal who scored 28 and 24 points respectively in the defeat against the Pelicans in the last game, with the ability to make the impact minimal.

We’ll have to see what Heat is that comes out this Saturday. If it’s Wednesday’s, which took 41 points from the Lakers, then there are chances of victory, but if it’s the one who left Toronto recently, then there’s little hope of getting up with the win.

If the Capital of the Sun quintet manages to beat Phoenix not only would it hit a positive record, but the win can serve as motivation to start to win consistently.

To win the Cleveland quintet, which is on, would already be confirmation of the improvement the team needs to aspire to the top this season.

It won’t be an easy task. The Cavs in their last game defeated the Nuggets with 28 points from Donovan Mitchel, and 24 from Darius Garland.

Luckily the Suns don’t have a strong power forward and Rocey O’Neale can be contained by Haywood Highsmith, who will then see them with Evan Mobley who takes 5 inches off him, to see if he can stop him.

Highsmith was put in the starting quintet in place of Nikola Jovic after he suffered a nose blow that forced him to play with a mask and then an untimely ankle injury. But the history is that the Serbian power striker was playing with the necessary delivery

Jovic, after two games of absence due to an ankle sprain, returned Wednesday to the Lakers but was not included in Miami’s rotation and it is not known if he will be included this weekend.

“I’m frustrated just because I’m not playing, but that shows I can keep working,” Jovic said. That’s what I’m doing, I have to regain that trust from the coaches. It’s not that it’s not good, not the defense, it’s the things the coach wants and I’m not fit right now. I have to get better.

The Heat were left out of the NBA Cup whose quarterfinals they face (at home from second) Magic-Bucks and Hawks-Knicks in the East, while Mavericks-Thunder and Warriors-Rockets go West.

While the Miami team will have two reschedule games, against two of the teams eliminated. On Thursday, December 12, he hosts the Raptors at Kaseya Center and on Monday, December 16, he will visit the Pistons in Detroit, two meetings that must change for victory.
