Inter Miami began the countdown on Wednesday, August 4, to the opening of its stadium at Miami Freedom Park, where it is now official that the team will play at home starting in the 2026 season.
And he did so this Wednesday throughout the day, touring various emblematic spots in the city with activities and gifts for his fans under the slogan: “We are coming home!”
The new stadium will have 26,700 seats and will be the centerpiece of the 131-acre complex that will also include several soccer fields, recreation centers, a public park, restaurants, shops, as well as hotel and office buildings.

The land where Miami Freedom Park will be built is located next to the Miami airport, from west to east between 42nd Street and 37th Avenue, and from north to south between 7th Street and Expressway 836.
“The next stages of the Miami Freedom Park project bring us closer to acquiring our dream of making it the official home of Inter Miami CF. Embodying our motto ‘Freedom to Dream,’ we have been diligently building something extraordinary – a place where every fan will treasure unforgettable soccer moments,” explained Jorge Mas.

The stadium is expected to be completed by the end of 2025 and the Miami team could begin playing in the 2026 season when the rest of the park is completed for the enjoyment of South Florida residents and visitors.
“After years of dreaming, it’s exciting to share that in 2026, Inter Miami will move into its long-term home at Miami Freedom Park,” said David Beckham, co-owner of the club.

Inter Miami currently plays its games at Chase Stadium in Fort Lauderdale, where it also built the club’s training fields at the Florida Blue Training Center, which is also home to its academy.
Jorge Mas said the project will create more than 13,000 jobs and bring more than $40 million in tax revenue to state and local governments.
“And to be able to stand here in front of you talking about a global team, and to be able to give back to our community, to bring the most popular sport in the world and build what will be transformative in Miami, not just a stadium, but a destination.”
Fans interested in making deposits for the 2026 MLS regular season can do so and will receive priority for Miami Freedom Park.
The Miami club is the best of the current season and leads the Eastern Conference with 59 points.
Their players will rest this weekend, except for internationals Luis Suarez (Uruguay), Diego Gomez (Paraguay), and David Ruiz (Honduras), who were called up by their national teams.
As for the team’s current season, Inter Miami is leading the MLS Eastern Conference with 59 points, 5 more than the Galaxy, leader of the West, so far they are winning the race for the Supporters’ Shield, the trophy awarded to the best club of the campaign.
