The Paris 2024 Olympic Games will begin next Friday, July 26, in the capital of France. The wait is drawing near and everything seems to be fully prepared for the most important and relevant event in the world of sport to once again capture the attention of spectators around the world, both present and at home.

Although the opening ceremony will take place on the aforementioned Friday, the 26th, some competitions will begin before the opening, such as football and rugby, where matches will be played on the 24th and 25th.

The closing date for Paris 2024 will be Sunday, August 11, when some finals will be held, and, as a final touch, the closing ceremony will take place, which will mark the end of the Olympic cycle and the beginning of a new Olympiad until the Games that will be held in the city of Los Angeles in 2024.

Sports fans from around the world will be able to enjoy the best athletes from around the world for a total of 17 days (19 if the competitions on July 24 and 25 are taken into account), in which they will be representing more than 200 countries, who will be fighting to win a medal for their nations. The 2024 Olympic Games will not offer any respite since, from the beginning of the competition until the closing date, there will be a competition of several sports every day.

Paises participants

A total of 206 countries will be represented at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, but Russians and Belarusians will not be counted as neutral individual athletes.
