Lionel Messi and Inter Miami CF toast the best of the shows this Saturday, February 22 in their season debut at the Chase Stadium.

The Miami team, with its new pink dress, gave excitement to its fans, tying 2-2 the match at the last minute, after playing more than an hour with 10 players against New York City.

The goal of the final draw was a magical play, in Messi gave away a huge assist for Telasco Segovia to score in the 100th minute the second goal of Inter, which did justice and which knew to victory after what was lived. Messi also assisted Messi in scoring the first, and the second was scored by the Zaguero Tomas Aviles at minute 5, who was subsequently expelled in the 23rd.

“When they give Messi the ball the only thing you have to do is run because you know the ball is coming,” Telasco said about the goal after the game.

The goals of the NYC were scored by Mitja Ilenic (26th) and Adrian Martinez (.55)

Inter, despite the numerical inferiority and that sometimes I have to suffer, was really superior to its rival, looking for the whole match the rival goal, creating multiple chances of goal. 59.1 for possession time and 14 shots to go for 8 of their rival is a good test of that.

The reality is that 11 against 11 we were superior when you get expelled from a play everything goes uphill, they tied us in the next play, and beyond that I highlight the heart of the players is a team that has a soul and gave themselves up to die,” Miami coach Javier Mascherano said after the draw.

I’m keeping the positive is a result we deserved, I’m left with a lot of positive things and we’re going to fight. I highlight the hunger that the players had and the desire to win, especially when it turns everything against you.

Mascherano introduced four changes from the eleven that opened in the Champions Cup, the first Jordi Alba for Gonzalo Lujan, passing to Noah Allen of central, then Fafa Picault by Telasco Segovia, David Ruiz for Tadeo Alende, Benjamin Cremaschi by Federico Redondo who thus:

The first half had two very different parts and the 1-1 result was fair enough. The first was for Miami, with a goal included, and the second was for the City after equalizing the match. Inter, despite playing with one less man, was better at dominating the first 45 minutes with 55.4 percent, as well as shooting more at the door (7-3).

Just in the 5th minute, Inter put 1-0 on the scoreboard after Toto Aviles finished a pass from Messi at the word of goal, who generated the whole play at the exit of a corner and who received in the area a large leaked pass from Alba to get in and give him the goal.

Miami’s chances were happening, dominating the meeting to pleasure, until an unfortunate move changed the turns. The City striker controlled a long ball between Miami’s two power stations in the 23rd minute and Aviles fouled on the edge of the area which cost him the red card, leaving Inter with 10 players.

The City took the foul in short (26 euros) with a pass to the right of Maxi Morales’s barrier, where Ilenic appeared to score the 1-1 cross-shot with right leg, completing a great play of deception.

Central Ian Fray came in for Ruiz and it was another game. The City took over the meeting and Inter only had to defend himself and counter-punch.

However, in the final minutes Inter, despite having one less player, settled better, took over the spherical, and created several occasions, including one from Taylor over the end that only shot into the hands of the goalkeeper.

A level of harassment and demolition by Inter came to the whistle of the referee who sent the meeting to rest.

Redondo started the second half in place of Weigandt, who retired with discomfort, holding Cremaschi back.

However, the City was better and controlled the whole game comfortably until at 55th Alba delayed a ball and gave it to Alonso Martinez, who thanked him by stepping into the area and beating Ustari with a cross-shot to put in front of New York’s 11 2-1.

At 59th Segovia replaced Suárez and Lujan a Cremaschi, which caused the Miami team to improve and begin to attack.

In the 71st City goalkeeper Mattew Fresse, he attacked on his left a good free throw from Messi with a scent of goal, after collecting a foul he received for it about 25 meters from the goal.

From then on Inter took over and over again the opposite arc and the clearest at 84 when Redondo finished off a measured center of Alba, after a large leaked pass from Messi.

With the interstitching over the New York gate came the 90th minute and the referee gave 11 compensation.

Miami attacked everything and in the last minute 90-10. Segovia tied the match 2-2 spectacularly, lifting the ball over the goalkeeper, after a great assist from Messi in a play that started Fray running through half a court.

There was no time for more and Miami took 10 a deserved tie after being a better team on the court.
